To promote creative thinking, allow for higher student engagement, and offer a well-rounded education Seplat has introduced the STEAM model of learning to secondary schools in Delta and Eda States; where Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) are equal contributors to the process of learning.
Secondary School Teachers in Delta and Eda States can be part of this highly impactful Seplat Teachers Empowerment Programme (STEP) by following these simple steps:
- Fill an Expression of Interest form and get it signed by your Principal or Proprietor (collect from your CIE or send an email to [email protected] )
- Submit online or via your CIE.
- Login details and Data will be sent to your registered phone number.
- On June 13, 2022, sign into the test portal, put your login details and take the short test.
Qualified schools will be sent a text message and the Ministry of Education will also contact your school.
QUALIFYING TEST IS ONLINE ON JUNE 13-18, 2022.
The programme duration is 3 months online, starting with a 4-day residential workshop. It will provide leadership and self-improvement training, training on STEAM modules and its application to teaching. The teachers will also be provided with STEAM gadgets and Apps to support their delivery of quality teaching in our host states.
Note: Teachers and Cl Es who were in the previous editions are not qualified to sit for the test or participate.
