Overall responsibility for the day to day running of AGPC with a primary focus on the delivery of the ANOH gas plant project – A 300MMscfd greenfield integrated gas plant that will produce dry gas, condensate, and LPG.
Skill and experience
Okechukwu has nearly 25 years of experience with a diversified background covering finance, commercial, planning, project delivery and business leadership with profit and loss accountability. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of AGPC, he held the positions of General Manager Gas business and General Manager Commercial for Seplat. In those positions, he transformed Seplat’s gas business into an industry leading supplier of gas into the domestic market, delivering gas to a diversified portfolio of customers and generated strong cashflows. Prior to Seplat, Okechukwu worked with ExxonMobil Nigeria, BG (British Gas) Nigeria, and Arthur Andersen.
Okechukwu has a first-class degree in accounting and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is an alumnus of Manchester Business School and has completed executive courses at Harvard Business School and London Business School.
